The CANNES LIONS INTERNATIONAL ADVERTISING FESTIVAL is the only annual gathering of the world's advertising, creative, direct marketing, interactive, film, radio, media and marketing communities.
Networking capital
Up to 8,000 industry figures from 75 countries meet at the Festival to absorb and learn from the best in international advertising, creativity and marketing communications, attend cutting-edge seminars and network in Cannes.
The world's best advertising
During the Festival week, participants can see over 5,000 commercials, 10,000 outdoor and press ads, 1,700 websites and online ads, 900 media solutions and 1,400 direct marketing entries. This year, participants will also be able to listen to ads entered into the latest awards sections, the Radio Lions and view the Titanium Lions for Integrated Campaigns (as films).
Highly covered awards
Winning ads are awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze Lions. The Grand Prix are awarded to the best of the Gold Lions. Other awards include Agency of the Year, Media Person of the Year, the Palme d'Or, Journalists' Award, Award for Excellence in Music and the Titanium Award. Brand new this year, is the Direct Marketing Agency of the Year award, to be presented at the Tuesday night awards ceremony.
